About Hospice Care
Coping with life-limiting illness and providing end-of-life care is difficult for any family. Hospice care offers patients and their families a team of experts who can help. Care includes specialized medical care, pain management, and emotional and spiritual support.
Most hospice care is provided in the patient’s own home, though certain cases may be recommended for in-patient care at the Caroline Hospice Home. Care can also be provided in nursing homes or assisted living facilities. Regardless of where patients are cared for, they and their families can expect to be treated with compassion and dignity. All hospice care in Caroline County is provided by Compass Regional Hospice, our partner for exceptional end-of-life care.
