Caroline Foundation Grants $100,000 to Caroline Hospice Foundation

Caroline Hospice Foundation is tremendously honored to have received a $100,000 grant from the Caroline Foundation. This is one of the first grants the Caroline Foundation has issued following the sale of Caroline Nursing Home and The Gables.  All proceeds from these sales have been designated for charitable grants to Caroline County organizations that provide medical and healthcare services to the community.  The grant received by Caroline Hospice Foundation will serve hospice patients and their families throughout the County.

The Caroline Foundation awarded Caroline Hospice Foundation a $100,000 grant to provide hospice care to patients and their families throughout Caroline County.

We are deeply grateful to have been chosen by the Caroline Foundation to receive such a significant grant. The funds received will help ensure access to the exceptional hospice care provided by our medical partner, Compass Regional Hospice. Demand for hospice care in Caroline County increased significantly in 2016, resulting in a nearly threefold increase in the cost of care.

The funds provided by the Caroline Foundation will also help us continue to maintain and operate the Caroline Hospice Home, which provides in-patient hospice care for County residents.

If you would like to help continue the important work of honoring life’s journey through compassionate end-of-life care, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to Caroline Hospice Foundation.
