Red Neck Golf Association Donates $1,120 to Caroline Hospice Foundation

Caroline Hospice Foundation was recently honored to receive a $1,120 donation from the Red Neck Golf Association!

The Red Neck Golf Association is a group of guys who get together once a year to play golf and “share stories, tell small lies, and generally have fun.” The group has a “Green Jacket” that is awarded to the winning golfer, which simulates the jacket awarded at the Masters Tournament. Each of the golfing buddies makes a cash contribution, and the winner of the Green Jacket gets to decide where the funds will be donated.

This year’s Red Neck Golf Association Green Jacket winner was Mr. Doug Gray. Mr. Gray chose to direct the funds to Caroline Hospice Foundation, for which we are very grateful!

The donation from the Red Neck Golf Association provides the equivalent of 37 days of hospice care for one patient. If you would like to help honor life’s journey and provide local families with care and support, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to Caroline Hospice Foundation.

The Caroline Foundation awarded Caroline Hospice Foundation a $100,000 grant to provide hospice care to patients and their families throughout Caroline County.
